Delete Your Mine Garage Account
This page explains how to request deletion of your Mine Garage® account and of the data associated with it, and what is deleted or kept. Mine Garage® is published by DANSP LAB DESENVOLVIMENTO E CONSULTORIA DE SOFTWARE LTDA (Dansp Lab).
How to request deletion
In the app
- Open Mine Garage® and sign in.
- Open Profile.
- Tap Delete account and confirm. You may be asked to sign in again or to enter your password.
By email, without the app
Send an email to minegarage@dansplab.com from the address registered in your account, asking for your account to be deleted. We may ask you to confirm that the account is yours. The account is then deleted in the same way.
What is deleted
- Your sign-in account (your email address and password, or the link to Google or Apple sign-in) is removed immediately. You can no longer sign in, and you stop receiving reminders and emails.
- Your data is permanently deleted 30 days later: your profile (name, username and photo), the vehicles you own with their maintenance, fuel, expense, income and trip records, documents, checklists, attachments and photos, your invitations and your workshop reviews. People you shared one of your vehicles with lose access to it.
- During those 30 days the data is kept only so that an account deleted by mistake can be recovered. If that is your case, write to minegarage@dansplab.com from the account's address and we may be able to restore it.
What is kept
- Posts and replies you published in the community, and workshops you recommended that other people reviewed, stay without any link to you.
- Records you made on a vehicle that belongs to someone else, because it was shared with you or you transferred it, stay with that vehicle without your name.
- Copies in backups, until those backups expire.
- Information we are required to keep to meet a legal obligation, resolve disputes or prevent fraud, as the law allows.
- Diagnostic, analytics and advertising data held by our service providers, which follows their own retention periods.
- Anonymous statistics about the deletion (the dates, the plan and the number of vehicles), which do not identify you.
Subscriptions
Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription bought through Google Play or the App Store. Cancel it in the store's subscription settings.
